The Official #11 Tennessee vs. #13 Baylor Game Thread, 9:30 PM ET, CBSSN

Hahahahaah the first thing these clowns have said on CBS Sports post-game show is saying Baylor never stood a chance because of the emotional win last night and the fatigue. What a ******** excuse. Can’t give Tennessee any credit. St. John’s sure recovered just fine!

Pitino and St. John would have been an interesting game.

Saw one with a hair on it once. I was young tho, so it was still okay.

Worked with a young lady when I was 18 that was very popular due to her DDs....looked great in clothes. We all worked for Cendant near Sutherland back around 2000 and we got $15 hotel rooms since it was a call center for hotel reservations.

Me and a couple buddies would constantly get hotel rooms and party. We got Miss DDs and a couple of her friends to come party at our room at the Holiday Inn on the strip behind Krystal's and some bar/club that was new at the time....probably all gone now. Had plenty of alcohol, smoke and (allegedly) some MDMA.

The ladies just couldn't abide wearing clothes so the night went great other than the disappointment of Miss DDs earning the nickname of "tube socks n rocks" when she undressed. She was really cool/sweet and I felt bad for her. We never let her know our disappointment but she had to know and acted really shy at work after that. Didn't bother my buddy that spent his evening with her and I was mostly focused on her smoking hot friend but I learned a very pointed lesson about not making assumptions and not all teat being good teat.

Still, one of my most fun nights as a young man.

Need a Plavsic type to let Umier and Edgecomb know what’s up.

Okpara would be that dude if he wasn't a starter....dude just has that "F around and find out" vibe. Dubar, Mashack and Cade also scrappy and ZZ ain't no punk either but they are too disciplined for that stuff. It's really on the refs for allowing Baylor to get away with fouling in the first half while calling a different game for our bigs, especially Igor. Then they let it get worse in the second half and only calling fouls if our guys got mugged and went down....local kid got away with murder.

I love the way our roster is built this year. Cade's progression is huge in case JP is out....if JP gets healthy then we have five guys that are 6'8 - 6'11 and can potentially play the 4 or 5 at a high level, plus Mashack that can play the 4 in a small lineup. Very versatile group that can rebound, bang down low, block shots or stretch the D and are all quick and athletic. Multiple guys at the 3 and 2 with size and enough guys that can bring the ball up and attack the basket. PG is the only thin position with nobody behind ZZ (Boswell looks good but more of a 2 guard).

We can play a lot of different lineups to match other teams but I think most teams will have to adjust to our lineups which we have not seen much in years past. Possibly our deepest and most well rounded team under Barnes.

How would you like that prepared?

Beer battered and fried.....like he must have been when posting that horrible take.

TBF, Chaz making 7 threes and out scoring the opponent 25-22 by himself in the first half would put most any team away with how we typically move the ball and play defense. I am extremely happy with Chaz, Igor and Okpara so far. All three are as advertised and Dubar is coming along nicely. Cade's progression and Gainey's aggressive play are also a huge bonus.

Team looked very versatile last night. Different players stepped up at different times. Last year we rode DK and ZZ. This year, I feel like we have several options if shots aren’t falling.

Certainly I'd rather have Carr getting reps in big games but him being injured has forced Barnes to play Dubar. Whatever home stuff is going on I'm sure playing in these intense games and getting wins has got to be huge for his confidence. Could be big for building depth as year goes on.

There was one possession where Dubar shot a 3 and missed, but we got the offensive board, ZZ kicked it back out to Dubar, and he drains a 3.

I gave a little fist bump to the tv. Was a good moment. Team trust him.

Omier has shoved and pushed on every play.... AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT, no wonder he's doing well

This is one time I am happy to take my crow with some Heinz 57 sauce. What a great performance, especially in the 1st half. You could see late what Baylor is capable of but the damage was done, Mr Chaz Lanier is a man amongst men. 🏀 🍊🤣
Only thing Baylor showed me late was their ability to play thug street ball. With a decent officiating crew, Baylor loses that game by 35+ IMO

I’m not sure why there is so much focus on the post game comments. The broadcast team was making the same excuses for Baylor in the second half of the game. Yes, it was annoying but I was more irked when I think it was the edgecombe kid took a three with about 5 minutes or so left and the play by play guy said “get in there”.
I’ve never heard a supposedly neutral announcer say that on air. Type of thing that should get you fired. But it is CBSports Channel - whatever that is.

It was egregious from an officiating standpoint. I believe Barnes must have been seething about the 2nd half as he met Drew for the handshake. Barnes said something to him and Drew smiled, but Barnes had a serious look. Yes, we annihilate Baylor if that game is called correctly the second half.

Team looks ahead of schedule. Great chemistry. Need a healthy Estrella to make a formidable front court, Dubar's development can help. Point guard is a one man show with Z. That's a concern. Bishop needs to develop fast.

You turn a ballroom into a gym and what do you expect.
Clock operator could not even get it right.
The game/score had to be respectable for show only.
There were a couple of muggings on the floor that never got called
I am surprised no new injuries.

I was very concerned about injuries. Also speaks to Drew’s character in that he perpetrated that behavior. Officials could have put an end to the chaos, but they chose not to.
