THE MATCHUP

• The Volunteers are 3-1 against the Governors this century, with the wins by an average of 34.7 ppg. The defeat was on 12/10/11, 74-70.
• Tennessee has scored 80-plus points in five of its last seven games versus Austin Peay.
• After going 19-16 (10-6) and playing in the CIT last year, the Governors were picked second in the ASUN preseason poll by the coaches and third by the media.

• In Tennessee's first three games, it led for 117:21 of a possible 120 minutes, while trailing for only 13 total seconds.
• Through their first three games, the Volunteers are plus-35 in fast-break points, 39-4, and has allowed zero in two outings. UT is also plus-50, 116-66, in paint points.
• Tennessee is 30-0 in home non- conference games over the last five seasons. Only two other schools, Texas Tech (34-0) and Baylor (30-0), have that many such wins with zero losses over that time period.
• According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Volunteers' 30- game non-conference home winning streak is tied with Akron, Connecticut and Providence for the seventh-longest active streak in the nation.
• Tennessee is seeking a 4-0 start for the fifth time in seven years. It would join the 2018-19 (4-0), 2019-20 (5-0), 2020-21 (7-0) and 2023-24 (4-0) teams.

In that span, UT has three SEC titles, winning the regular season in 2018 and 2024, plus the 2022 tournament.
• In that same eight-year stretch, the Vols are one of only three SEC teams with an overall winning percentage of over .700, alongside Auburn (.727) and Kentucky (.701).
• In SEC play over the same eight-year period, Tennessee (86-39; .688) is second in the league, behind Kentucky (87-38; .696), in both victories and winning percentage. Only Auburn (81-45; .643) and Alabama (78-48; .619) have even 70-plus wins.

I hope the Estrella injury is just precautionary. I thought he was getting better. If he hurt it again, that would be a huge loss. We are already very thin. Maybe we’ll see some Dubar minutes today.

Rucker said probably not just this one. Honestly if he's dealing with stress fracture in his foot which was now aggravated he may not be back until 2025. We'll see though
