Dwayne Goodrich anchored the Tennessee secondary from 1996 to 1999, compiling 137 tackles—including three for loss—along with one forced fumble, six fumble recoveries, and 22 pass breakups. He also notched 13 interceptions, returning three for touchdowns. Goodrich was a key contributor to the Vols’ back-to-back SEC Championships in 1997 and 1998 and played a pivotal role in their national title win, earning Defensive MVP honors in the 1999 Fiesta Bowl. He capped off his career with All-SEC recognition in 1999.

A versatile athlete, Pickens played multiple positions and is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic players in the program’s history. Over his career, he hauled in 109 receptions for 1,875 yards and 13 touchdowns. On special teams, he returned 35 kickoffs for 777 yards and a touchdown, along with 13 punt returns for 135 yards and another score. Defensively, he recorded 19 tackles and 4 interceptions, including a pick-six.

I spent a couple hours today watching Youtube videos of great Tennessee players and games of long ago. Can't believe how many of those old-timers I remembered and the plays they had. sad thing though, the last UT football game that I've seen in person was the 1990 cotton bowl against Arkansas.

Maybe it's just the time I grew up watching the Vols (these would have been my high school days), but Lincoln was a very under rated player. What doesn't show up in the stats here is he was very disruptive and seemed to always be close to the ball.
