In the 70’s Fly Williams played basketball at APSU. The chant at basketball games was Fly’s open let’s go Peay.

The Dunn Center is “The House That Fly Built.” Sadly, the F&M Bank Arena will be the new home of the Governors basketball teams. It’s off campus, but still an easy walk for a college kid (at least it was when I walked downtown as an undergrad). The Fly played in the old gym, “The Little Red Barn”.

Damn, I feel old now.

From what I’ve seen, it’s a nice facility. I heard that the DC will be reconfigured for volleyball after the basketball teams move
