With everything that's happening they deserve a thread of their own.....They just offered Pujols a 10 year deal....Good gawd....Marlins are serious for a change!

For a change? Did you forget when they wildly overspent, won a world series, then had a fire sale the next year and lost 100+ games?

He is playing them more than likely, to get more money out of St. Louis. I don't think any club in their right mind would give him 10 years.

Although that franchise is desperate to hit a latino HR in Miami.

I remember it quite well...1997....Can't count 2003 because that wasn't a jacked up team money wise....You mad? :clapping:

I actually thought he would go back to St Louis too but now I'm not so sure...Larussa is gone now so maybe he is just ready to move on....Guess we'll find out soon enough....If all else fails Prince Fielder is out there....Just got to keep an oxygen tank near first base so he doesn't pass out hehe

Now Hanley Ramirez is saying he doesn't want to move to 3B after Reyes has been signed.

We will gladly have him in back as part of the Red Sox organization as well.

It appears the Marlins are out of the running in the decade deal for Pujols. (Pujols most likely staying in STL)

Strike up the Marlins pursuit of Prince Fielder.

Yes but that manager is gone. I'd like for this one to be gone also.

I don't know about a pursuit of Prince, but they'll definitely sign Wilson, Buerhle or both.

Yep they are out of the running for Pujols....I suppose they will go after Fielder now and they just made a 6 year offer for CJ Wilson....Not sure about that one..I wasn't impressed with Wilson in the playoffs.

Marlins making a 6-year offer to CJ Wilson.

They're also in on Mark Buehrle, but with STL possibly getting into discussions, I'm not sure Miami has a chance.

I'm not sure I like 6 years with Wilson, but whatever. Interesting nonetheless.
