2 cars upside down thus weekend. Just proves that you can't beat physics. No matter if they slow these things down or not they're gonna flip if they get hit right.

Went to the race today. We’ve been to Daytona before but never for the 500. Such a fun atmosphere.

So how was the new gen car? For the first time in like 30 years since I was probably 10-12yo I didn't watch a single lap of the 500.

To be be honest I haven't looked up who won.🤔

It was alright. There were times when there wasn't a lot going on and I started to doubt, but the end of the race was decent. Austin Cindric won the 500 in only his 8th career Cup Start

It was a decent race. There were times when they just clicked laps off, but I also feel like there was more jostling for position than the last few years.

I understand the 500 being 500 mi is special. But for nearly 400 mi of that race, they’re just cruising single file and trying to stay out of trouble.

A system that would award 1 point per lap led might fix that. I’m sure that will cause lots of other problems I’m not thinking about, but high points scoring races would be interesting

It's kind of funny. For living in the south so long, that's really the only track I haven't been to (well and Miami).
