KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Kicking off a nine-game homestand and looking to rebound from a tough road weekend, the No. 19-ranked Tennessee Volunteers welcome in-state foe Tennessee Tech to Rocky Top for a midweek on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
Tennessee (23-13, 5-10 SEC) has been incredibly strong at home this year, posting a 21-3 record on Rocky Top. The Big Orange will look to regain some comfort in the batter's box as the Vols are hitting .308 with 9.3 runs per game at home. On the mound, Tennessee has posted a 2.64 ERA and .177 opponent batting average in those 24 games.
Jared Dickey was a bright spot for the Vols over the weekend, leading the Friday and Saturday games off with homers. He also added a two-RBI single in the series finale on Sunday.
