On tv this time? Or do I get to watch another Sam Houston State or one of another dozen college games from around the country instead.

Is the game on Comedy Central or what ?
I think they should stop the game and the fans give them a standing ovation if they get 50 points.
I know I'm going to watch it because I like to torture myself.

The most points they've gave up this year is 69, and they average holding teams to 59. If we score in the upper 60's I'd be impressed.

Care to enlighten us on why u think maymon wont play this season?

That is the opinion of just about every beat writer around the organization. Quinn, Hubbs, etc... From the reports he is still walking with a very noticable limp. The only exercise he is having right now is riding the exercise bike and walking (not running) on a treadmill according to CCM on Monday.

Have u read govolsxtra article where maymons dad says his knee is 100% healthy and he is working with Nicodemus to get ready to play?

If that was true don't you think he'd be practicing and not WALKING on a treadmill?

He also says his knee is fine, but won't say what the setback is....so apparently there's something there still.

Any of our medical experts(Sparty)...

Asked specifically about an infection, Tim Maymon responded, "I can't confirm or deny what it was, but I can tell you this: His knee is healthy.

"It has nothing to do with him not being able play on it. It has nothing to do with him not being able to walk. Jeronne is walking without crutches. He's working out and he's rehabbing.

"Jeronne just had an issue that he needed to look into to make sure that he would never have a problem again. I can tell you this, Jeronne is 100 percent healthy."

Seems fishy to me?

To me it says that structurally there is absolutely nothing wrong with the knee. Last year's issues have been fixed with surgery and rehabilitated. The issues Maymon is having now is an infection that was potentially caused by the surgery. As far as the knee is concerned there is nothing wrong with it.

Just spitballing but could Maymon have a blood clot in his leg? An unfortunate side-effect of the surgery? His knee could structurally/physically be fine but the clot would also cause soreness in the leg. My wife had a clot in her upper arm as a side-effect of birth control pills. It took a few months for the body to naturally dissolve the clot with the help of blood thinners.

Heavy physical exercise would be out of the question as it would just cause increased pain in the leg from increased blood pressure. Plus the added risk of dislodging the clot.

I think HIPAA law prevents revealing exactly what the issue is. Only Maymon can give out that info if he chooses. But, all indications from people close to the organization indicate that Maymon's current issue is fighting an infection only. No reports of any blood clots.
