The Official Tennessee vs. #9 Auburn Game Thread, 12pm ET(11/09/13), ESPN

I just want us to finish 6-6 and a bowl game and I'll be happy for this year. Next year is a different story. I'm worried about Vanderbilt to be honest. But I can't be so pessimistic, we did lose to two top 10 teams in two weeks with a freshman quarterback who has been pretty solid but hasn't scored. Hopefully that will change.

At this point, the math is easy. 4-6, with two to play. The over/under is 5-7. Much like it was back in August. The needle has moved a couple of times since then, but here we are in November, right back where we were when the season started.

6-6 is possible, 5-7 is likely, and 4-8 is also possible. It will come down to defense and special teams. That's what took us out of this game, and if it does not improve, it will take us out of at least one of our remaining games. Simple as that.

Go Vols. The measure of Team 117 will be taken in the next 8 quarters.

It was an upset, they happen.

Missouri is thinking "Had we not blown a 17-0 4th quarter lead against SC, we'd have clinched the SEC East today."

When will people learn that reactions following a game should all go in the game thread? All these superfluous threads make this place intolerable until about Tuesday.
