NOTING THE VOLS
-Junior forward Jarnell Stokes scored a season-high 20 points Friday vs. Xavier and also grabbed 10 rebounds for his 21st career double-double (in 56 career games).
-Senior forward Jeronne Maymon is coming off arguably his best game of the season, as he totaled 14 points, six rebounds and three steals in 24 minutes vs. Xavier Friday.
-Freshman point guard Darius Thompson averages 16.3 minutes per game and has just three turnovers in 98 total minutes played this season. He boasts a 4.3 assist/turnover ratio and leads the Vols in steals (12).
-Xavier's 49 points marked the lowest points total for a Tennessee opponent this season. It was the sixth time a Cuonzo Martin-coached UT team held an opponent to fewer than 50 points.
-In Tennessee's two losses this season, the Vols are shooting .517 from the foul line (30-of-58). In UT's four wins, the Vols are shooting .745 (82-of-110) at the charity stripe.

WAKE FOREST SERIES
-It's been nearly 43 years since the Volunteers and Demon Deacons last met on the hardwood (15,699 days).
-Tennessee leads the all-time series with Wake Forest 7-2, dating to 1947.
-Wake Forest does hold a 1-0 edge in neutral-site meetings, having defeated the Vols 69-62 in Asheville, N.C., on Jan. 9, 1950.

This will be interesting to watch. I grew up a huge wake fan when I was little because my grandad played football there. But I've transferred to a UT fan the past ten years.
I will admit. Wake is a solid team this year they have a ton of young talented sophomores I think they have like 8 or 9 of them that play. Cody miller macyntire is really good as a pg and Devon Thomas is a beast PF. It will be exciting watching him and stoked play it out. Travis Mckie is a athletic small forward who is a scorer as well.

I hope the vols win but it will be a close game. Both teams are underachieving with the talent they have the past few years

Believe it or not the game I'm most looking forward to tomorrow is Wake-Tennessee. Very curious to find out if Deacs are legit.

what a joke not to be able to watch this game. SEC/ACC. Regional game with schools in bordering states.
absolutely ridiculous. Has anyone from UT or anybody commented on why I am living in the middle of Nashville, paying $220/mo for cable, can watch div 3 lacrosse, womens basketball or pac NW ping pong but cant watch this game?
damn I'm pissed and it's too early to be pissed.

Really ridiculous though. 5 boxes, internet, dvr,...feel like I'm too entrenched to switch and really don't want to have to deal with a satellite. On the phone with cable company right now. At least plan on getting a few months of skinemax free

They have the worst customer service on the planet.

Every time I return a box they try to say I didn't return it and charge me for it. Luckily I keep the receipts.

This tourney was purchased by NBC and axs with this very thing in mind. They want people to want their channel. I had never heard if this channel. Now I have. Smart on their part IMO.
