Jaslove is supposed to be an absolutely fantastic defender, according to people who follow Vols baseball closely. From what I can tell, there was some question (but no consensus) (among fans) that he could beat out other hitters on the national championship team in order to break into the lineup. Well, that would apply to most college baseball players across the country, would it not? And some people thought it was too early to tell about that. Or that maybe that his primo glove compensated.

I think he is going to be a fantastic "get" for Peay at shortstop.
