He was pretty good in HS. Tough after not playing for 10+ years though

Verne Lundquiste has officially submitted his application to both the MLB Network and ESPN Baseball Tonight. He doesn't need a blue pill to get excited about Tim.

I hope it works out for him. I really do.

I saw a reporter today on ESPN that said when is gonna grow up and not chase a dream (or something to that effect). I saw why not chase it if you have the ability.

I don't know what "growing up" has to do with it, is there something immature about trying to go for it if he can? That's a really silly statement, and the ironic part is his statement comes across as childish.

I don't think he has a shot in hades, but he's still relatively young and in great shape, and I'm sure from his TV gigs and the NFL, he's not hurting for money, so why not?

The Mets' fall instructional league runs from Sept. 18 through Oct. 8 in Port St. Lucie. The Mets say Tim Tebow will participate.
