Yep. Another huge play that will go overlooked. Nico throws the ball away in the red zone on 3rd down. There was nothing there. BUT instead of trying to be Superman, he throws it away, we get 3 points late in the game.

A turnover there woulda got Vandy right back in it. Instead we add to our lead. He’s learning!

We definitely could have blitzed Beck more. We never once knocked him down and he threw for 350 yards and had his best game all season. They have the only Oline all season that stopped our front 4 (12) defensive linemen. Banks should have been dialing up safety and LB, even Corner blitzes. Whatever we needed to do to get to Beck. He had all day to stand back there. We had coverage issues due to that...McCoy, who has played at a 1st team ALL SEC level all season played so badly that he got benched for an entire series in Athens.
My man Brooks and the LBs were the primary victims though. They had a package made just to put Brooks in conflict...either covering a TE who was much bigger than him or a WR who was faster. Their TEs clowned our LBs over the middle all 2nd half too. We didnt have an answer without Pili and more athletic safeties ( I love Brooks. Love him. Hes not a 4.4 guy though. Great tackler though)

UGA is the only team I really dont want to play AT in the playoffs. Oregon would be rough too. We shouldn't have to travel to either one though...and we can beat ANYONE on a neutral field if we play well.

Lets go win these 4 GAMES and bring that big trophy back to Knoxville. GO VOLS
