Well boys (and girls) the season is now over and it's time to start getting ready for next year. What are some of the most important things to get done between now and next August? Getting AJ and/or Tiny back? Signing 30+ recruits? changing coaches anywhere? Establishing a QB?

And telling all the whiners to SHUT UP! GO VOLS!

Personally, I think it's a mixture of signing the recruits and establishing an offensive leader at QB. I don't care if it's Worley, Dobbs, Ferguson or Peterman. We desperately need an offensive commander.

Does anyone think there is a chance Tiny returns?

I'd say 20% chance Tiny stays, 50% for AJ Johnson. Hopefully Johnson gets some better advice than Bray. Really hope both comeback because it would really help our o-line have a leader as well as the defense. 3 Really good LB's coming in next year, would be awesome to have AJ mentor them as well.

I posted a few minutes ago that CBJ started at Cincy 4/8 and the next year 10/3. Once he sees who actually completes signing day 2014, he can go to work shaping this squad considering he's going to lose some, but hopefully the juniors will step up and the new freshmen and come in with a play hard attitude.

Now on another note, do anyone know what this FB violation is that I read in my local newspaper. It says we self-reported the following..."The football violation involved sending a recruiting letter with an impermissible mailing label." -- say what?!?! Huh?!?!

I definitely think it's possible. No one thought Peyton would stay, but when he did. When a player buys into a program the way team 117 has bought into CBJ's program, it's not as easy as saying "I'm going pro! See ya!"

I think Tiny (and AJ) meets with CBJ in the near future and Butch will try to talk him into staying and he might succeed. He might not. But I wouldn't say anything is certain at this point.

"No" Tiny will NOT return. My cousin works at the same job as "Tiny's" mother in Mt. Pleasant, Tn. and a few days ago his mother said. " I will drag my son to meet the person who can get him eligible for the draft"

Never underestimate the power of a mother on a childs decision making.

Remember a few seasons ago, I told you guys that Gabe Wright's mother wanted him to play at Auburn because it was close to their home, but he wanted to go to U.T.? Well, his mother won out and Gabe is playing for Auburn......

Tiny is gone!!!!!!!!!!!

A.J. reminds me of Herman Lathers. He is a good college player but he won't even get drafted in to the NFL....

These days, a slow L.B. will get exposed by tight ends or slot receivers. A.J. can't cover anyone on pass plays....

He might be. But I wouldn't call it certain just yet. Antonio Richardson is a grown man. Not a high school recruit. He (along with the rest of this team) and Coach Jones have developed a close relationship and quite frankly, they all believe there is unfinished business at Rocky Top. I'm sure if they could come back for another season, most of the seniors would come back.

Off Season starts 1st week of December when Butch makes the whole team lift with the S&C staff and measure their body fat before Christmas break....to check it when they return to make sure they stick to their given plan and stay bought in and accountable for their personal fitness on their own.

I loved hearing that this week...train like a championship fighter....will pay off this time next year.
