Found it hilarious our DB #5 repeatedly running his jaw play after play despite him getting torched by SC receivers all night. Someone on our coaching staff should put together a "low light" reel of his blunders followed by him talking smack. But guess we don't have any better DBs than him on our roster. Really hope our new DB recruit studs can start next year as true freshmen.

They should have yanked him. What's the worst that could have happened? Send a message and pull that guy acting like a clown. Reminded me of Akron's QB JAWING WHILE GETTING KILLED ALL NIGHT.

Did anyone here play football other than pickup smear, flag, or Madden?
I never played on a team winning or losing where you didn't talk trash about the previous play you won. You don't stop playing both mentally and physically. It's part of the job description.

That’s the problem. #5 wasn’t winning any plays. No right to trash talk. It only makes him look weaker.

Are you serious? You talked trash after getting beat time and time again? After being run over? When losing by 21-31 points? That's embarrassing, man. Hadden's antics last night were stupid. There is no defending it. When I played sports, I knew when to shut up and play.

Yes I watched Tenneseee get manhandled. I also think it's cowardly and silly for grown men to tell college dudes to shut their mouths from their comfort of their recliners and keyboards. It's football ma'am. Trash talk is part of it.

Nothing more pathetic to me than a guy talking trash after getting beat play after play after play. He was even yacking at Beamer in the 4th quarter down 30+ points. It was embarrassing.

The Gamecocks decided to take Highway 5 since it goes straight to the end zone.

And that's fair, but you guys wanting him to shut up and take the chirping without retaliating are weak IMO. None of you would be getting your face busted in and say , I think I am going to say nothing and just take it.
I mean seriously. When Hefney shutup against Florida, he was shredded by volnation for not fighting and quiting when down 30+. The dude had a bad night, keeps fighting, and you guys tell him to shut his mouth. I would take a player who doesn't get mentally shook over a coward anyway.

Trash talk is embarrassing when you're getting embarrassed. He as an individual got beat every play and showed his a$$. I think his behavior was chicken sh!t

Yeah but at least the Akron qb was making plays. Number #5 didn’t make not one, so this was way worse.

Lol never stop mentality? He never got started, his only contribution to the game was his mouth and that is why he the very topic of this conversation. It has zero to do with his play on that field because that was nowhere to be seen. His behavior was indefensible

I didn’t watch him closely every play he got beat but he wasn’t the only one he was Vols leading tackler so he did something wasn’t much from what I’m reading but if he’s trash and leading tackler that seems to tell the full story about the rest of our D or was it just him. Also Beamer was there as an adult cussing a student/player on national TV, good looks all the way around.
