It appears the Burnt orange UT is having a bout of CPF Disease!! Maybe a CPF fever with a dash of BobbyB for good measure. It is truly hard just to ride off into the sunset!! :)

This has been brewing for the last three seasons...and now Mack Brown's guardian angel Dodds is stepping down...end of season...you're right...eerily similar to CPF

Here's to hoping they go after Saban and get his butt out of the SEC.

They'll go after him but whether they get him is another question. With that said, I have a couple of friends with ties to some pretty big boosters at Texas and they believe they wouldn't have much of a problem convincing him to take the job.

IMO It would very tough for any coach to turn the Texas job down. The university has a ton of money and is willing to spend big bucks to get the coach they want(TX $ >Bama $). Recruiting hotbed. Playing in a weak conference. Austin is one heckuva great city(Tuscaloosa doesn't even close).

I love rumors of feelings that friends of friends have.

Funny, I seem to recall similar talk doing on last November about a coach named Gruden. Money is no problem, insider friends, we've got him if we want, won't take much convincing, etc.

I'll just put that out there as food for thought.

They'll be fans on their site who will continue to say he (Mack) deserves more time......sounds familiar, right? If a player isn't getting it done, fans are in a hurry to bench him and start another player. When a winning coach starts sliding it's more difficult to make a quick decision even when it's so evident to everyone but the most die hard coach supporter. The burnt orange is burning and sinking....Texas needs to pull the trigger, but will they?
