Due to the challenges of the edit message feature, the list of prospects that have written us off will appear here, with the school they committed to.

Guys, feel free to add to the list here if have anything.

there are thousands of recruits and TN makes many prospects' top-10 preliminary lists based on name & facilities alone.

Fulmer's staff and Kiffin's staff have talked to hundreds of possible recruits(if not thousands).

Why don't you just go the to Scout/Rivals recruiting rankings of colleges and then copy and paste every single commitment to another school? That would do a lot of good.

This is the dumbest list ever, period.

While you're at it, why don't you make a list of all the super models you're not going to hook up with?

Make a list of every single serial number on the dollar bill you haven't seen.

Make a list of every place you're ever eaten a sandwich, too.

I'm really looking forward to these lists coming to fruition.

I wouldn't say this list is dumb, but it would be better to just focus on the guys we could still get, unless you have a ton of time haha.

Anytime you have coaching changes, you will lose recruits. Some of these guys who decommitted did it before they new who the new coach would be or before they spoke with him. Some, like Boyd, who may be highly rated, simply will take a scholly from an OL or DL that we need. Kiffin kept the majority of these guys plus has got several other highly rated prospects to visit. We will end up with a Top Ten class which will be impressive. I admire his honesty with Boyd and he has done a lot in a short amount of time without a staff. Lets concentrate on who we will sign as opposed to who we lost. Even Florida lost 3 guys after they won a the BCS. Kasa, Reid, and some other guy all chose different schools recently. Everyone misses out on some.

Thanks, I found that thread over on the other board later.

At least he didn't shoot himself like Plaxico or use a 9mm like happens far too often these days.

Anyway I saw something about a "2nd arrest," so I guess it's best we let someone else take a chance with him.

I think I need to explain this post a little clearer than what it is intended to be:

This thread is designed to list what players had us on our list. I know we are trying to concentrate on players we are trying to get (there are threads for that) but let us recap the prospects we had high hopes for at one point and explain why this and that prospect lost interest in us. Of course this will be done in a summarized way for those who don't want to scour the player threads for an explanation. Take DJ Hunter for an example. There are new members joining us so if they want a quick answer, then it will be summed up in a few sentences or a paragraph.

I hope this helps.

If you have nothing nice to say, I highly advise not to post anything that will not contribute to this thread.

there are hundreds of kids who had UT on their preliminary lists. you will never even be able to scratch the surface on the number of kids who briefly considered UT before joining another program.

we have 85 scholarships, not 1,000.

let us not. this is easily the dumbest thread i've ever seen on any football forum in my life without question. it's the kind of thing you'd expect to see on a DAWG or BAMMER site.

there are hundreds of kids who had UT on their preliminary lists. you will never even be able to scratch the surface on the number of kids who briefly considered UT before joining another program.

This is good stuff. I needed some cheering up. Good job, Jack.

I have to agree, without getting as philosophical as my friend, this is a fruitless enterprise. No one cares who we aren't getting. We care about who is still in play. Most of us don't even check the threads of guys that aren't considering us anymore, unless it's to put some shots in toward the school that did get him or the prospect himself. Thus a list of all of those prospects is just an even larger waste of our time.
