I know it's already been mentioned by Rucker, but I don't feel nearly as bad for Pearl as I do his assistants. I know the latest rumor about them actually initiating the violations (and Pearl covering up by lying), but Pearl IMO still has job security...not to mention a 1 million dollar buyout. The assistants, on the other hand, generated just as much passion and dedication to this university. They not only fell in love with the culture, but many also were raising families in the supporting atmosphere . Here's the latest blog post by Mark Pancratz. Really upsetting post. Truly was one of my favorite coaches on staff.
