series premier tonight at 8:30 est on NBC, comes on just before a new episode of The Office (one of the last with Steve Carell)

I'm a big fan of Reiser so I'm going to give this show a shot for a couple weeks and see what its all about.

Helen Hunt was pretty easy on the eyes on that show

yea i was just warming up to Perfect Couples myself.

ratings driven industry though, and that is a prime spot leading into The Office and 30 Rock.

Perfect Couples probably won't be renewed. I personally hated it.

I liked Perfect Couples, but I can't really see it going very far. The Paul Reiser Show wasn't great, but wasn't bad either.

I think NBC is trying out new shows in case The Office bombs after Carrell leaves.

Just watched the first 5 minutes on Hulu, it was awful.

On NBC the lack of CBS and ABC original competition late helped the ratings, but the series premiere of The Paul Reiser Show crashed on takeoff, with just a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating, the lowest ever rating for an NBC in season sitcom premiere.

I would say take the under on my 7 episodes prediction.

surprising to see a show about a bunch of late 20-something/early 30s aged 'perfect couples" living in luxury in los angeles fail. it was so realistic.

This show will last until May sweeps when all the seasons end, then NBC will probably toss another fail fest into the 8:30 time slot in the fall. It's better than Perfect Couples, but that isn't saying much. I'd rather have an unmedicated root canal than see another episode of Perfect Couples.

yea it deserved it, sadly it was rotten both weeks.

Still like Reiser though, would like to see him get back into film. He was really good in Bye Bye Love
