1. It wasn't pretty, but Georgetown-Villanova was a good show. The 20,000 who showed up got their money's worth.
2. JT III seemed rather confident about his team's tournament prospects in the postgame news conference. I'm not sure that's warranted.
3. Jay Wright didn't seem terribly crushed by the defeat. He understands how deep the Big East is this year.
4. It can't be much fun coaching in that league right now. The difference between 11-5 and 6-10 is razor thin.
5. Notre Dame missed an opportunity today. UCONN was at less than their best and the Irish failed to take advantage.
6. I'm still shocked by the anger related to Brian Dawkins' departure. It's all Philadelphia is talking about.
7. There's reason Big East players are so well prepared when they reach the NBA. Officials allow the game to be played with pro level physicality.
8. Len Elmore is an incredibly nice guy. Not a great analyst, but a really friendly person.
9. JTIII has done a great jon of reestablishing G'Town's national cache. They had a nice crowd there rooting for them today.
10. Pitt-Seton Hall will be intriguing tonight. I'll be interested to see how the Panthers look live and how they play against a team that really pushes tempo.
