I wonder if the Johnny Majors Classic between the Vols and the Panthers will be played again at a future date? I can't see it being a one shot home and home deal. maybe once every two or three years?

Thanks for the replies. I sort of liked the idea of a continuing series. Though I'd prefer one with Norte Dame because I detest their arrogant azzes. And like it when, whoever it is, takes them down.

Pittsburgh couldn't even feel 2/3 of their stadium for the game. It's hard to see this being that big of a deal. Then again for Pittsburgh feeling 2/3 of your stadium maybe a breakthrough!

I remember watching the 07 Outback bowl. I was driving (either to NY or back to GA on leave). Stopped to eat in VA, and ended up sitting next to Penn State fans at the bar.

As the NCAA weakens and we drift toward 2 major conferences and everybody else, I think the Big 10 and SEC should shun the ACC teams.

Their big buyout makes the inevitable harder to accomplish and the SEC and Big 10 should pressure them to let the good teams leave so football can "re-align" into post-NCAA divisions.

Scheduling a non con team like Pitt every two to three years would be excessive and not allow better non con games. Need to spread it around a good bit. Would like to renew with UCLA, maybe OK State, Notre Dame or a B1G school. Washington is on the schedule in the upcoming years. Virginia and UTSA this fall could be interesting.

I would make most games in State to keep revenue up for in state programs. OOC games that are completely out of the region are stupid imo.
No.

It's huge for our brand.
It exposes other markets to us.
And it's fun for the Vol fans that can travel.

I'm glad my wife and I made it to the Pitt Tennessee game in Neyland. It definitely had a special atmosphere that day. Came up on the wrong end that day, But got to see Hendon get his first opportunity. Enjoyed seeing the Pittsburgh and Tennessee fans mesh for Majors.
