I'm curious what the Vols fans are thinking. From the posts I've seen, it appears to be pretty divided.

The fact that FSU was denied a spot after the ACC voted to delay the expansion of the playoff field to twelve teams until next year made me laugh.

In my opinion, ESPN is always excited to see Bama in the playoffs. With a P5 team going undefeated and winning their conference, I would say a lot of thought went into an excuse to keep Florida State out of the playoffs. So the reasoning is that it wouldn't be a good game because their QB was injured and they'd have to play a backup ........
I remember a team last year that got their star QB hurt late in the season but went to the Orange Bowl with the 2nd team QB and beat a good Clemson team. So I'm not buying the excuse of injured QB's that they're trying to pitch. I agree Florida State got the shaft. Now if they're able to hang with Georgia in the Orange Bowl and not get blown out, somebody owes an apology to the Seminole fans. Like I said, my opinion.
