If you've ever dealt with the press or been interviewed, they take only 10% of what is actually said and use most of that out of context. Without hearing the actual interview verbatim, it is impossible to know the tone and intent of Ja'Wuan's comments.

If this is from personal experience, you haven't dealt with professionals. The percentage of what is used can vary depending on the story, but, in all cases, it should be in context.

"Trying to win two games" when two out of the three are Vandy at home and UK-- is pretty uninspired. Doesn't sound very fired up about it.

After watching the team regress over the last 2 weeks, I'd have to saying winning 2 of the last 3 games, even if Vandy and ky are part of the equation, is a rather ambitious stretch goal.

I see no problem with that. That means they are trying to win every game because they know they only have 3 chances. If they happen to win the first 2, then the last one is the easiest. Please don't make a big deal out of that.
This x100000000 Please people don't get worked up about this.

OL Ja'Wuan James said this in a timesfree press article...

James said. "At this point we're just trying to win two games. We have 3 more chances with us 5 ol trying to do it.

screw 2 games, we want 3 not 2. but will settle for 2 to make a bowl game.
...told ya'll ...watch our OL lay down against the War Eagles ...They'll show up and beat Vandy & UK and we'll go bowling ... bank it.

I understand your logic, but in my mind the last two weeks have been more about this team losing their intensity and focus on the road against highly ranked opponents. They just aren't ready to take on a talented team and a SEC road crowd yet.

It seems like the players feed off of the energy in Neyland and that pushes them to compete at a higher level throughout an entire game. I hope to see a raucous crowd at home this weekend for this reason.

Auburn is beatable and I will never concede defeat before the game is played. I recognize that Auburn's strengths are in areas where this team has been weakest this year, but we always have a chance when playing in our own house. Just my 2 cents...
