Browsing through Tennessee Volunteer hats, tee's etc I noticed I really don't care for the power T regardless of color being on the front of the hat..or shirt. It may be a matter of taste but I'd rather see ''Tennessee'' or ''Volunteers'' or ''Rocky Top'' than just the T. I think it looks ok on the side or back.

My favorite hat is an orange wool with white power T on the front and white TENNESSEE on the band in the back. Have had the same for 30 + years.

My favorite sweatshirt is a 90/10 light gray with white outlined orange TENNESSEE across the front and a small orange power T on the back up under the collar band.

Depends on what its on and where it located, but I love the power T.

Edit: Just remembered. Behr is wearing the hat. :)

It’s not a matter of disliking the power T it’s the placement of it. It’s a matter of personal taste I prefer it on the side or back of at cap rather than the main focal point. I think a cap looks better with Tennessee or Vols or Volunteers as the focal point.

While I think the Power T is very cool, there’s a practical annoyance involved with it being the only mark, especially living outside of the South. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten enthusiastic greetings from “fellow” Longhorns fans, or just “you from Texas?” from others. You’d think their fans at least would know their own logo.

Even though I feel like they’re the idiots, it happens frequently enough that I start gravitating to gear that also has Vols or Tennessee on it.
