The Problems with Trans-ideology

classy people

Bet those "gates" were unguarded, wide open doors with little old ladies out there checking for tickets.

Yall ever seen any of the dozen or so actual "trans" people on planet Earth that looked capable of doing a single pushup, pull up, or any other activity requiring enough physical strength to lift their own body weight? Yeah...me neither. I am betting the half dozen 70 to 80 year old Deacons in my church could have easily "repelled the angry horde" without even drawing their pistols.

not to start an argument, but most of the Trans-female boxers, MMA fighters, weight-lifters and swimmers I've seen look like they could hold their own......

Brother man, I've got a F2M trans who frequents my place who could whopp both our asses at the same time. They deadlift our combined body weight lol.

Whatever you say there, Lou Ferrigno.

LDE.

You don’t have to be Lou to pull 400. A large number of males can achieve that with little to no training.

I’d assume an average male could probably go to the gym and pull at least 315 today even if you’ve never lifted before.

"I'd assume"

There you have it.

It's still a microdick response. 400 is perfectly respectable.

You brought it up only because it was “perfectly respectable” or because you saw it as a feat of physical prowess that was evidence she could totally beat up men?

I saw it as a response to Marcus' wild claims, but I'm sure you were readying a response to those too 🤣

Have a happy Wednesday, 8188.

Sounds like he’s describing a transgender male there?

“Female 2 Male” - So biologically female.

I realize that. I’m mainly responding to his idea that a 400lb deadlift is evidence of her ability to beat up biological men. Granted I’ve never met either poster, so it’s possible that knowing she can deadlift 400lbs is knowledge enough to put my money on her.

I'm having a difficult time believing a random sampling of "average" (I believe I last heard that to be around 5'9"/190lb) coming off the street with little to no training and pulling 300+. It's been a minute but IIRC a pretty respectable novice lift would be around 1.5x bodyweight. Note that's novice healthy lifter, not "So never lifted before? Let's start you out at 300 then.".

1.5x body weight is a respectable bench press for sure. But not a deadlift.

I am curious what the answer to that question is though. Found a few studies of untrained individuals but didn’t have accounts with those journals.

Benching 270 at 180 is more than “respectable” lol what the hell

I know nothing about this site but it's the first thing I hit on with a search.

If you look at their bench press standards it has the “beginner” category for men at 103. I’d assume most untrained adult men could hit around 185. Could be wrong

From a different source they say a beginner's bench should be somewhere between .5x and 1x bodyweight so that lines up around 100'ish for a 200lb'ish male.

These aren’t really scientific studies. Idk if you’ve ever bench pressed, but if we took a group of 8th grade males even the weakest of those kids could hit around 95-100 if untrained and around 185 in the stronger of your untrained group.

In my years of coaching, it was rare to see 8th graders benching below 95lbs.
