This QB crap is starting to get old. It's like a damn fairy tale. You know the story, where the guy basically shows just enough interest in the not so popular girl to keep her interested. In the mean time he is pursuing the popular girl all out. In the end the most popular girl jilts him for another suitor. Then in order to try and save face he goes back to the not so popular girl and tries to convince her she is his top priority, only to have her tell him to piss OFF ! Anyone else see the irony here ?

Popular guy = Heaps and Bell thus far with Scroggins pending. Not so popular = Hendrix, Brunetti, Rettig thus far. You seriously could not figure that out? WOW

You obviously missed the point. Fairy tale, hence soga instead of saga. The joke's on you lol.

I see nothing changes here....

A guy makes a post about something that is on his mind and you jerkoffs are tripping over each other to flame him. So sad :cray:

From what I'm hearing this situation is more like going to the Chess Club to find a date, but that doesn't make a very good film.

What if there is no real "popular girl" to chase?

Nope. I don't see any irony.
The melodrama of UT's QB search is more akin to soap opera than fairy tale, though. That's even worse. In a fairy tale, you can always anticipate a happy ending for the protagonist in spite of wicked witches, ogres, and duplicitous supporting characters.

we didn't even pursue Bell, Heaps wasn't going anywhere other than BYU.
Really ? Obviously you should do a little prior research before you get happy fingers. Anyone with any knowledge at all about the QB situation, knows Bell was officially offered shortly before he committed to OKLAHOMA.

LOL, it's all good. Some people have to try and tear down others to make themselves look better. We all know that and you're correct, it is sad but it is what it is.

If it was a Hollywood fairy tale, the popular girl would jilt him, the unpopular girl would tell him to piss off, then he would axe murder them both, turn gay and live happily ever after.

no i get it, i just think it sounds stupid.

i think the true irony is that you complain that others are flaming you and trying to make themselves look good, but you attack me and basically call me a retard when i so much as disagree with one of your mind blowing, world altering posts about how QB recruiting is actually some 80's high school movie.
