Can you provide a news link that shows Dems are considering this? I can't find one.

If they are then they are wide open for such criticism. I'm not sure they are dumb enough (can't believe I'm saying that) to makes such a move though.

I have no doubt - I just can't find any reporting other than righty blogs that say the Dems are actually considering this rule change.

I hope and pray they are trying to make this change.

Have you not noticed the bottom has dropped out of the ratings of ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN news coverage?

That major print media outlets like NY and LA Slimes and the Wishy Washy Post are laying off employees by the hundreds??

Evidently more than a few Americans have read 1984, or maybe they can just smella a rat, enve then Fox folded like a cheap Barlow when confronted with muslim anger.

You need to tune in to nakednewsdotcom, that's the only place you can get a handle on what is really going on.

Of course not - pursuing it would be bad for Dem control of the Senate.

You favor Dem control of congress??

Huh?

This much from the NY Slimes, Apr.24.

(complete with their patented liberal spin.)

At the prodding of the White House, Democratic Congressional leaders have agreed to pursue a plan that would protect major health care legislation from Republican opposition by shielding it from last-minute Senate filibusters.

Obviously not what is being reported on the blogs but does mention avoiding the filibuster. How many people do you think now know senate rules were bypassed to get the bill this far along??

Since they are putting final action off until Oct, no doubt this will be a huge wedge issue to bring people to the polls.

I always vote but I think WC Fields got it right a long time ago; "Don't vote, it only encourages them."

At one time a long time ago I was in a position to read the whole raw, uncut Associated Press wire.

I reached two quite obvious conclusions.

1. There is/was a political agenda behind which stories are release and which are spiked.

2. The raw reporting is completely different after the AP editors get through adding their political spin.

Basically, if you question gs's sources, you are an idiot communist. I think that is what he was getting at.

Is that all you've got??? :clapping:
