Was that Bryce Young missed his last three passes to leave time on the clock and to cause a longer field goal try. He was extraordinary all day. Yet somehow didn’t get any of those three. And the second would have been an easy jog to the end zone for a Bama victory. Could have been one of those higher power things.

at the end of the day the Gumps had the same, if not a better chance to score and put the game away, but the Vols came up when it mattered an got the stop, went down with 15 seconds left and booted duckfart through for the win. Mind you, it was the most beautiful duck fart in all the land, and the VOLS beat the gumps.

Bama got the real miracles

The Hooker int and the fumble for a TD.

By the odds Tennessee scores at least 1 TD without those turnovers, and Bama doesn’t get the D TD…….that’s 14 points at least.

it was STUPID for Bama to pass 3 times in a row there……..no miracle about it……just plain bad coaching.

You may be right. Football games have, at times, some almost mystical occurrences that mock logic on every level. Miracle at South Bend. Stoerner stumble fumble. The Dobbnail boot pass was meant for M. North, but J. Jennings came down with it. And back in the late 1960s, I watch a GA-TN game where the Vols scored 8 points in 8 seconds of game time to tie or win (I can't recall which it was). The unexplainable, depending on what it is, can only be witnessed in astonishment. Or simply accepted as something beyond your power. Or provoke a profound sense of appreciation. Or make you hang your head and just say, "I tried."
In the hero stories, the call to go on a journey takes the form of a loss, an error, a wound, an unexplainable longing, or a sense of a mission. When any of these happens to us, we are being summoned to make a transition. It will always mean leaving something behind,...The paradox here is that loss is a path to gain. --David Richo--

Perhaps his pain medication lost its effectiveness at that point in the game. No time to allow for administering another injection or taking a pill. I commend Bryce's courage, though it might have been a foolhardy decision, to go on the field, and do his best to help his team win. Further, I bet our quality character QB has or will make contact with Bryce to communicate his respect for what the man did.

Agree with above post about Tenn turnovers helped bama. Maybe Young's arm was over used on last drive? Who knows and bummers crying about the penalties but way I look at it is they had a fg opportunity that missed and UT went down to put themselves in a position to kick a fg and made it. The breaks Go Vols.
