Worley is a very good QB. He doesn't fit in the offensive scheme preferred by CBJ. The REAL problem is caused by some prick named Lame Kitten that told UT commitment, Tajh Boyd, to take a hike.

It seems that Lame Kitten is getting the full circle treatment now. His condom team is costing him any possibility of a future at head coach because there is no QB at all. Actually, I think he gave up any future at head coach with his antics at UT but...

The BIG ORANGE are fortunate to have QB competition. There are 4 players on the team today that seem capable. I think the big decision will come in October. Only if there is a real reason to burn a season of eligibility will we see Dobbs or Ferguson on the field.

Just how well would Tajh Boyd have fit in the read option scheme? Oh well....

Dooley had chances to recruit some other QBs too. Just sayin.

(And no I'm not defending Kiffin)

so the real problem is that we didn't get a recruit it 2009 to execute Butch Jones' offense at UT? The Butch Jones who took over for the 2013 season?

I get it - Lane Kiffin is worthless and left our program in shambles. And I think if karma exists, he is about to get what's coming to him at the school he said is the only place he would leave Tennessee for. But that was over 4 years ago ... Isn't it time to stop blaming him?

And I also get the Derek Dooley thing... I see the domino effect here. If Lane had never left so abruptly after just one year, we wouldn't have had to scrounge for a good coach (that really wasn't out there). And we wouldn't have hired Dooley in the first place... And we wouldn't have had dismal seasons the last 4 years.

I get it. Believe me. And in true football fashion, I hold a grudge and will never respect Kiffin as a coach. But we are the University of Tennessee.

We are one of only a handful of schools to have 800 wins. We have one of the largest stadiums in the entire world. We have one of the best athletic facilities in the country. We have 6 national titles including the very first BCS championship. We consistently put players in the NFL, despite who is our head coach. And we have tradition that runs deeper than the Tennessee river our stadium stands right next to.

I get it, and I agree that Kiffin left the school in shambles and set us up for a lot of BS. But I think it's time to stop blaming Kiffin for our problems. Maybe then we will be able to focus again on all the awesome things about UT and use them to make progress...as I think CBJ is doing because like me, he gets it too. :)

The problem is we have young recievers with no game experience. And we have a QB who doesn't have enough zip on the ball to make up for the recievers mistakes. This offense is all about timing.

I blame Fulmer first, Kiffin second, and Dooley third.

Fulmer was a great coach. I would have no problem if we went after him instead of CBJ. But I also agree that it was time for a change when he left. But the fact that he left doesn't change who we are. We are still one of the best programs in the country even with crappy coaches the past several years.

I ummmmm....i appreciate the fact that Worley doesn't turn the ball over a lot....but in the same regard, you HAVE to hit open receivers at this level....despite the "scheme" you are playing in......Even against AP and WKU he struggled with accuracy whether 3 step, 5 step, play action, etc.....Rooting for the kid but I don't think he's the guy

Worley has a hitch in his throwing motion. Real similar to the quarterback from Georgia who competed again Clausen-can't remember his name. He will never be a capable college quarterback-the throwing motion breaks down under duress.
