The real problem with TN football right now, and the last several years, is the Anderson Center

I swear they built that thing on an Indian burial ground or something. Maybe they woke up the dude from Ghost Busters II? Whatever it is, since the conception in 2007 and ground breaking soon after, we have been snake bit like no other.

Name one other football team that has suffered so many anomalies and fluke moments like UT has?

Everything started going downhill when they stopped letting you smoke out on the ramps. I've said this for years and stand by it.

Ok, since we are thinking out loud, I suspect the real problem is that the players need to concentrate more on football and a lot less on girls!

Offensive line recruiting and development, and therefore offensive line depth, have been abysmal since Fulmer was fired. Kiffin had to start two walk-ons. Dooley (despite having one of the two or three exceptions to the bad-ol rule in 2012) had the infamous year of not signing any o-linemen. Butch’s teams could only move the ball through Dobbs and the skill players making big plays. Pruitt’s couldn’t move the ball at all. We lucked into a good ol last year, with four spots being manned by guys Heupel did not recruit (Crawford and Mincey both came in under Heupel, but split time).

The line of scrimmage is everything, and we have been getting bullied there since 2009. There is no excuse for o-line depth this poor in year 3.

Darnell Wright was just a top 10 NFL Draft pick, as I recall coming into his senior year he wasn’t even considered a first rounder.

This will be yet another season the team will look back on and wonder how they lost to Florida.

The real problem is an inexperienced coach has a major rebuild of a program in the toughest conference in America. Last year was fool's gold to a certain degree and thus had fans thinking our program's rebuild was further along than it actually was.

The real problems:

Mertz played > Milton
Florida offensive line > UT offensive line
Florida defensive backs > UT defensive backs

Agree. I better not hear any OL woes next year. If your identity is supposed to be offense then the OL should be the least of your concern in any discussion.
