I think it's because CCM is too nice. I've said that a LONG TIME ago. He's a family guy. He tries to honor what he said.
Q is a kid that probably works his a$$$ off and was probably told a lot of promises. He was one of the first to commit and his father has ties to Missouri State. So it would have made sense that Cuonzo was ALREADY recruiting him.
Q took the chance and the belief that he was going to get a lot of minutes at TN. CCM definitely underestimated the talent level at SEC and what our fan base expected.

This is probably true, and also why he should have stayed at Missouri ST.

Yeah his dad played at Missouri and don't see how he has ties with Mizzou State. But I get your point Moore should have all his minutes.

But you have to think back to Pearl and how much time he let his son play. When he was a senior he was playing even with 2 minutes left and the game was close. I still cringe thinking about some of the layups (Bricks) he put up. Yet almost everygame he played no matter what. I'm not defending Cuonzo, but even some of the better coaches probably do this to a fault still.
