THE RECORD

Have you ever seen a defender get turned inside out worse than what Marvin Harrison just did to that poor DB?

Well, that was very unselfish handing the ball off to James! I would still like to see him at least tie it tonight.

I am enjoying watching this game. Peyton and Jamal going at it. It hasn't even been mentioned that they both played for UT at the same time. Chalk another one up on the ESPN conspiracy chart.

When they showed video of Peyton growing up, they showed him as a kid, and playing in high school. But no mention whatsoever of him playing at Tennessee.

I know! That is another thing. Time to use the trusty sign. :espn:

Well, it is not going to happen tonight. Maybe I should have burned Dan Marino's golfing glove that I have before the game. That would be hard to do. Everytime that I put the thing on, it improves my throwing the football.

Good call by the Colts coaches. But I would have thrown it for the TD, because I am who I am, and I make no apologies for it.

Next week Peyton, next week.

I know the crowd was booing, but taking a knee was the only call Dungy could make there at the end.

Nevermind the fact that the refs totally blew it by saying that LB went out of bounds on the INT return.

ESPN, Stu Scott and the rest are already downing Peyton's performance tonight. After all he only threw 20-33 for 249 yards a touch and zero int's and completed his SIXTH straight 4000 yard passing season. Peyton is brought down by his own incomparable ability. His 126 qb rating is 18 points higher than the next opponent. The highest qb rating for a single year ever is 112 by Steve Young. Peyton, you are the best player and classiest athlete in any of the professional leagues we watch in our nation today!

I will say it - Peyton had a spectacular performance given the outstanding defense the Ravens had. I will give props to Ray Lewis and Ed Reed as being the best defensive duo in the game right now. Peyton was expected to break the record this game, that's all. He didn't, and it was disapointing. He was coming in with like what, 3 or 4 TD's a game average? But doing what Peyton did is pretty astounding. Who's up next for the Colts?

Next weekend against San Diego. Game starts at 1:00 et. I think that he will break it for sure during that one.

The Chargers have really suprised me this season. They have a solid defense, although not as good as Baltimore's.

Dungy, Manning and company had they attempted a pass at the end of the game would have come off looking like serious a-holes.

I also noticed them not showing Manning in UT orange, hell, that is where he became noticed.

By the way, Jonathon Ogden is officially Dwight Freeney's B!TCH!!!!

Peyton is one "cool dude!" Some of the fans booed him because they didn't get to see him tie the record. However, as he said in one of his interviews, the most important thing is to win, regardless of the record. He also said that if they are down to the 10 yard line or less, they'll run the ball. Peyton didn't want to rub it in against the Ravens at the end. It takes character to do something like that in the end of the game, just taking a knee twice with under a minute to go. He got the attention of some good players with the Ravens.
Peyton will get the record against the Chargers. They may not have the defense the Ravens have. Peyton will get the record before the half.
I foresee him with 3 TD's against the Chargers.

I thought the Colts played "DA RAYYYYYYYDDDAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHZZZZZ" next. My bad.

Anyway, Peyton himself even said 'They've given up 10 passing TD's all year. We're not going to go into the game and put up 4 or 5 TD's."

Peyton knew he was going to be in a tough game. Too bad the rest of the media **coughESPNcough** didn't realize this.

If the Colts beat the Chargers, it will insure they get the #3 seed, meaning the #6 seed will have to come to Indy instead of the #5 seed.

But if the Pats have a total collapse there is a possibility that Indy could pass them for the #2 seed.

I hope he ties and then breaks the resord by halftime.

Oh and BTW:

Remember those Isotoner gloves that Danny Boy used to hawk back in the day?
