I think we stand as good a chance at landing him as anyone. My gut tells me that he sticks with Auburn in the end, but that's more of a guess than anything.Sab, I look forward to your recruiting fix every week. Are we seriously in the hunt for Coleman in your opinion, he's got all the makings of an NFL caliber lineman, but it seems like he is a long shot?
It's hard to say you "expect" surprises. That's a little bit of an oxymoron isn't it? I think there will certainly be some names that come out of nowhere that will surprise some people though, yes.Good job.
Just throwing a question out, with this staff having recruited such a high profile class this past year in a whole lot less time, do we expect any major surprises out of the blue like Bryce Brown or Janzen Jackson type recruits? I've heard that visits during the season help even more but that didn't seem to hamper the staff at all this past year.
Offensive lineman James Stone has a final five that, surprising to some, does not include the University of Tennessee. It’s not clear whether Stone lost interest in the Vols or it was the other way around, but Stone’s interest in UT was, at one time, genuine. It’s nice to be in a situation at a need position where this really doesn’t hurt the Vols as they have many highly-regarded guys with UT loud on their radar.
