So much for painting the rock is a violation
This should always happen.
Kudos to whoever had a hand in it.

I disagree.

10. Vanderbilt (3-3, 0-3 SEC; LW: 10): The Commodores need a lot of help on defense. It's clear that there are holes all over and if Vandy is going to continue its upward progression, the defense has to improve. Vandy's defense has given up more than 500 yards twice and more than 360 yards four times.

11. Arkansas (3-3, 0-2 SEC; LW: 11): When Florida forced Arkansas to throw the ball, the Razorbacks just couldn't get anything going. Brandon Allen completed only 17 of his 41 pass attempts, threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown and registered a QBR of 9.8. For the second time this season, the Hogs had no spark on offense when the running game got stuffed.

12. Tennessee (3-3, 0-2 SEC; LW: 13): What a fight by Tennessee in that heartbreaking loss to Georgia. The Bulldogs did sustain some serious injuries, but Justin Worley delivered some big-time throws and wide receiver Pig Howard is turning into a real playmaker, except for that goal-line fumble. This defense still has a long way to go, but Saturday showed that this team truly has heart.

ESPN doesn't wear Orange Colored Glasses.

When we play well, perform well, etc. then they will have something to talk about. Its already happening.

I do not recall them hating us back in 98...

They get paid to talk.. so they talk.

Now... Tom Ritter... thats someone who hates us.

No duh...that's their job. It shows exactly what you said. When we do good they will say positive things. When we don't they're not gonna say ohh TENN is the best. The keep it real and aren't out to get us. Lmao

Must not have watched much then . I still remember them talking about us winning using smoke and mirrors , and giving us no credit for our wins.

The defense has a long way to go??? If they are going to call out any area it should be the offense.

Of course they still hate us and always will.

However they cannot ignore the OVERWHELMINGLY positive things that are happening at TN!:rock::rock:

Also, the "Karma is a Butch" thing was genius!

Agree, and a "trailer park" reference from Chris Fowler comes to mind from that year.

Painting the Rock is 100% a Violation, the school knows it's a Violation, so they make sure they take recruits past it and tell them "you see that rock painted like that showing you all that love, that's a violation. We'll need to paint over it, so take your picture now"

They then paint over that abomination to keep us out of trouble...

In 1998

Chris Fowler Trailer trash statement in which Al Wilson wanted to meet him across the middle and almost did...

Called him out after the NC game during interview.

Tom Ritter is from Nashville. I bet he's a Franklin loving Vandy homer.
