I'm not the coach, so obviously I don't this or that. I don't know if there are any issues in practice or what not. But from what I've seen, this would be mine. Curious to see what you guys think.

PG- Goins (25 minutes)/Golden (15 minutes)

- Goins' defense has still been solid, but he has digressed offensively. I think Golden has played well and brings a spark everytime he is in. Plus he is a better offensive player, and we need offense.

SG- Josh Bone (25 minutes)/Cam Tatum (15 minutes)

- I think the one bright spot of the CofC game was Josh Bone. He played really, really well, and he brings a lot of intensity defensively. His shot is better (you can tell). And he's enough of a driver to keep a D honest.

SF- Scotty Hopson (30 minutes)/Cam Tatum (10 minutes)

- Scotty would go to 2 when Cam is in, but I didn't want to get complicating. I think with Bone you get more defense, and Cam's shot is just not falling. And Cam can bring some energy/explosiveness from the bench, igniting a spark like he did last year. He still gets plenty of minutes, and we need some bench scoring.

PF- Tobias Harris (32-35 minutes)/Jeronne Maymon (5-8 minutes)

-Other than being a big body, nothing Maymon has done has impressed me. He's been a little lazy on the boards, and his offensive game needs MUCH work. Plus, he's a terrible FT shooter. Tobias needs to play as much as possible, and while that's a lot of minutes for a young guy, I think you have to do it.

C- Brian Williams (15 minutes)/John Fields (15 minutes)/Kenny Hall (10 minutes)

- The center position would be specifically matchup based. If they have a big center, Brian would get the majority of the minutes. If they are driving and we need some help stopping penetration, Fields gets the majority of the minutes. If they have an athletic team that runs up and down, we get Hall some minutes out there. I know it seems non sensical to play three centers shortening a rotation, but no one has taken over the spot.

So overall, you play 9-10 guys (depending on the matchups at center). You went from playing 5 wings to three. No Steven Pearl or Skylar McBee killing us offensively. All the guys played decent enough defense. This is just my opinion. What you guys think?

No way Steven Pearl gets bumped out of the rotation.
The defensive criteria Bruce set guarantees that he will keep his son getting the minutes behind Harris at the four. I dont agree with this, but thats the reality of is going to happen. My reality rotation:
--Goins/Golden at the point with Bone getting some minutes there depending on matchups. Golden can play the two you know.
--Cam and Scotty starting at the wings; backups are Bone, and if Bone is playing the point, Golden. McRae may get some spot minutes in case of injury or foul trouble---he is number 11 in the rotation. McBee and Woolridge are out of the rotation as Pearl at the 3.
--Harris at PF with Steven and Maymon both getting some time based on matchups
--Brian and Fields get the minutes; Hall out of rotation.

This gives you these ten in the rotation:
Goins, Golden, Bone, Hopson, Tatum, Harris, Pearl, Maymon, Williams and Fields. That in my opinion is what BP will do.

They're not getting enough out of any of them. Effort and smarts would go a long way toward fixing most of what's wrong. They take some of the worst shots i've witnessed also. If your' going to chuck up bad 3's, at least have some bodies underneath to clean it up.

The whole deal is mental.

And thats why pearl needs to be fired now!

Goins/Golden
Hopson/Bone
Tatum/Hopson
Harris/Maymon
Williams/Fields

Bone doesn't need to be playing 25 minutes, or even close to it. They tried this last year while Goins and Tatum were suspended and you saw how poorly he played outside of the Ole Miss game. He is a nice situational player, but he shouldn't be starting or getting anywhere close to 25 minutes.

Wasn't he playing the 1 then? He's a natural 2 guard. I'd play him a lot of minutes against Memphis not because I think he's the best player, but to send a message on how playing time is going to be earned.

He played minutes at the 1 and 2. In 37 regular season minutes after the Ole Miss game he had 2 pts, 3 rebs, 2 asts, and 1 TO on 0-6 shooting. He was basically a nothing on the offensive end.

Memphis' rotation will be shorter since Tarik Black just got ejected from the TSU game.

Per GVX CBP is cutting rotation to 10 players anyone want to wager big $$$ that Bruce Jr makes the cut and is in the 10 man rotation. I'm serious I'm willing to bet big $$$ that SP is "IN" the rotation any takers wanna go against that. Although he should NOT make the cut but I've come to realization its "good ole rocky top daddy ball in the SEC, daddy ball in the SEC".

No question that Pearl will be part of the rotation. How can you keep him out of the rotation with his great defensive play. Hopefully he provides confusion for the opposing defense as they will become confused on who to double while he is in the game.
