Want to see everyone's opinion on the rotation. After seeing both Thompson and Barton in at the same time, I really think this should be our go to lineup when we are getting pressed and need points or if we are under a lot of pressure. Thompson's passing ability is unreal. He would have had 9 assist tonight if it wasn't from two missed layups by Maymon and Moore.

Barton 15 - Thompson 25
McRae 25 - Barton 10 - Hubbs 5
Richardson 20 - McRae 5 - Hubbs 15
Maymon 20 - Moore 10 - J Rich 5 - AJ 5
Stokes 30 - Maymon 5 - AJ/Pops - 5 (depends on the matchup)

Total minutes
McRae 30
Stokes 30
Barton 25
Thompson 25
Richardson 25
Maymon 25
Hubbs 20
Moore 10
AJ 5-10
Pops < 5

This would allow CCM to go half and half with the 4 guard lineup (which IMO is our best scoring option.)

I think this team is starting to come together and CCM is starting to figure out what rotation he should go with. I'm ready to see what they look like in B4A against some tougher teams and see how much better they are compared to when they played against Xavier.

Who we are seeing now are exactly who most posters thought. I like the fact that Darius is allowing Barton to get some rest and heal up. We'll be needing him going forward. 8-9 man rotation is perfect. Continue to have experience while also getting our young players significant minutes.

If last night is any indication, CCM may be paring down his rotation quicker than in the last two years. Maybe that will help this team get off to a quicker start. I like the guys he has picked, a good mix of basketball players and athletes. I must admit, having Barton and Thompson on point has had a more significant impact to this point than I previously imagined. Both look solid and comfortable, moreso even than our veterans.

Last two years he didn't know who his best players were. Last year his best player went out so he had to shuffle it up and give Kenny Hall Maymon's mins and had to start Skylar. This year is a clear difference from starting rotation to back ups to the bench players. It's a wonderful thing.

I think Q, Edwards, and Lebron (LBR) missed the cut and last night proved that. I didn't watch the last 5 min but did any of them even get any mop up minutes?

I like it Zo!

Love the Barton/Thompson combo, and this also allows Thompson to be on the flood but not have to guard a PG.

I made a well thought out post regarding this then dropped my phone and erased it. Lol Short version...I like the rotation, would like for Armani to get 15, maybe steal a couple for both Maymon and Davis.

Agree 100! Davis has good upside, but is nowhere near ready physically to bang inside. I think your wish will be granted soon.
