WV is playing good baseball. Morgantown hasn't had a regional in forever. That place will be nutz.

that's 10 SEC teams
Kentucky- once again, badly over seeded at #10
West Virginia is over seeded
I don't believe Duke has resume to host right now. RPI 16-Rank 17) Lost 4 of 6. They play at Miami this weekend so this may be moot.

Just don't see them as a top 8 teams
The Big12 has not been good.
They should host. Just not that high.

Admittedly, the last few weeks shows that it's hard to pick 4-16

I've watched them several times this year. They look like a pretty solid squad. Top 8? I don't know.

I don’t like the early matchup w FL but you you have to beat the best.

I just hope JD gets healthy before regionals.

GO VOLS!

The Aggies played well in Hoover last year. That day is single elimination, so gotta come to play.

Obviously, we can beat anyone and lose to anyone. The team I most want to avoid is Auburn. That are hot as a pistol, and we never play well against them in any sport.

Yeah. If we get by A&M, I like our chances against Florida in Hoover. They only bring 14 fans. Takes the steam right out of their players.

Not like we have one real dominant starting pitcher that we have to burn against A&M. We got 5-6 guys who can shut down gators on the right day.

Just seeing Camden trotting around gives them those little alligator arms...

they have played no one (the big 12 baseball is way down this year top to bottom) and they do have one real good player

They’re setting attendance records in Morgantown. Only SRO tickets were available for recent conference games. They had their highest attendance season ever this year.

JJ Wetherholt is something else, batting .466 with 15 homers and 35 stolen bases (stats below). I’ve only watched more Tennessee games than WVU games this season. They put lots of pressure on a defense and steal and bunt like crazy.

Question. If a lower seed wins a region against a top National 8 seed, do they keep that seed or are the National Seeds set before the Super Regionals?

Mazey is a good coach. He's quietly building a really good program there.

If they host, that place will be similar to LNS in 2021. My business partner is from WV. Hasn't been to a college baseball game in decades but is making plans to go.

I’ve been wondering this as well.

Say a 3-seed wins the (#5 national regional) and a 2-seed wins the (#12 national regional), who would host the supers?

The 2 seed if they have the capability to do so. Goes to the original lowest overall seed for the team at the initial seeding.
