Was it really that bad other than the onside kick and Morley inexplicably taking a knee or two at the 1 yard line?
I don't think Wilhoit missed a kick and we didn't get much of a look on punt returns or coverage.
There was a short kickoff that D.Mo tried to catch at a full run, and he wound up punting it out of bounds. It landed at the 26 to tell you how short of a kickoff it was.hmy:
I see.
Hard to know when you don't see it and you have Bob yelling, "He downed the ball at the 1! What was he thinking?!"
Kessling should know better. It was really obvious that he slipped. He even tried to cover it up and keep on running but the refs blew it dead. Doesn't matter though, our offense put together a 99 yard drive and it kept AF's annoying offense off the field a little longer.

that was taylor not d mo... and yeah he made a bad decision to bring that one out early in the game... but the slip is just bad luck... d mo is forreal and he''ll be back at returns.. im still wonderin why hefney returned punts instead of rogers? There was a short kickoff that D.Mo tried to catch at a full run, and he wound up punting it out of bounds. Yeah, and if you watched Hef muff 4-5 punts last year, you know why Austin was fair-catching them.
