Lets say Inky (which he probably will be) is out for the Florida game. What will we see to minimize the damage? Will we see Antwan Stewart return to corner as he did alittle in the Air Force game? Or will we finally see Dee Morely at corner? Thoughts?

i think we should be ok put morley at corner and leave stewart at safety. i think we will get more than enough pressure on leak w/ the front 4 that the matchups outside will not have time to hurt us before leak goes down for the sack or throws it away remember leak is the same scared kid that alabama killed last year.i see us getting at least 5 sacks and maybe 3 int's.LB's must be aware of the ball at all times.if not the TE will kill us. if we have to bring LB's to get pressure on leak we are in trouble. period
but the KEY to the game is our o-line opening up holes for the running backs and thus far this year i'm not impressed. lets hope they have a break out game next week. EA just has to keep doing what hes been doing.
just my opinion
GO VOLS!!!
final score TENN- 24 FLA- 17

I'd like to see D-MO there, only cause he's a little taller, but I think Stewart can get to the ball faster. Either one can get it done.

What was up with our special teams? They looked decent vs. CAL and then fell apart. Concetration maybe?

Was it really that bad other than the onside kick and Morley inexplicably taking a knee or two at the 1 yard line?

I don't think Wilhoit missed a kick and we didn't get much of a look on punt returns or coverage.

There was a short kickoff that D.Mo tried to catch at a full run, and he wound up punting it out of bounds. It landed at the 26 to tell you how short of a kickoff it was. :eek:hmy:

It was a squib kick that was rolling to Morely, when he picked it up he slipped and his knee hit the ground. It wasn't intentional.

I thought that was Taylor. Regardless, if it's the one I am thinking of the "up guy" should have fielded that kick. It was all Taylor, or whoever, could do to get to it.

Yeah, my bad. Chris Brown had called a fair catch on a similar kickoff earlier in the game.

I see.

Hard to know when you don't see it and you have Bob yelling, "He downed the ball at the 1! What was he thinking?!"

Kessling should know better. It was really obvious that he slipped. He even tried to cover it up and keep on running but the refs blew it dead. Doesn't matter though, our offense put together a 99 yard drive and it kept AF's annoying offense off the field a little longer.

That drive has been overlooked on this board. For me it will be a highlight of this season, and proof that the offense has made terrific strides.

Yep, it was a good one. In retrospect, the Vols should have downed every kickoff on the one to keep them off the field.

Well, it's Bob.

True about the 99 yard drive... in the end it helped pad some stats and eat a lot of time.

that was taylor not d mo... and yeah he made a bad decision to bring that one out early in the game... but the slip is just bad luck... d mo is forreal and he''ll be back at returns.. im still wonderin why hefney returned punts instead of rogers?

Hef almost broke one open. I like him back there. He seems like hes not as worried about the return. Austin Rogers fair caught punts that Hef would have returned. Hefney just seems like a PR guy.

Yeah, and if you watched Hef muff 4-5 punts last year, you know why Austin was fair-catching them.

Very true rwemyss. But this isnt last year. He hasnt messed up yet. I think he needs the apportunity to atleast try. But dont get me wrong, Hef and Austin Rogers are both more han capable of the duties.
