1. Good win. A much needed respite from the recent struggles.
2. Through the miracle of the TV looky box, I got to see everyone in the SEC today. The league is disgracefully bad.
3. UCONN and Louisville are the two best teams in the country. Their game this week will be an epic.
4. Good to see Hopson and Tatum make shots. Now, we get to see if they can translate that to consistent production.
5. Getting Calathes in foul trouble was huge. Without him on the floor, Florida is a bad basketball team.
6. Next week will be interesting. Two winnable road games are an opportunity to get into solid SEC contention.
7. Kentucky has issues. Losing to South Carolina at home is a bad, bad sign for a team with SEC title aspirations.
8. LSU is the best team in the SEC right now. The weakness of the West gives them a huge advantage in the title chase.
9. Ole Miss is showing incredible guts. How many teams in the country can lose 3 of their 4 best players and remain competitive?
10. Good atmosphere. The crowd showed up and gave UT a boost, as opposed to Wednesday night.

I like a healthy UNC team in the discussion of the best teams in the country.

Have they decided on whether or not Ginyard will play again this year?

Good stuff, hat. Looked like a great atmosphere on TV, and I'm really looking forward to that UConn/Louisville as well. Then again, most fans are I'd imagine.

uh. they won it very recently and they just didn't compare to the top 2 teams last season.

The team that won it was a completely different team. They were one of the three favorites in 06-07 and failed, they were arguably THE favorite last season and failed again.

They don't play the defense required to win a championship.

They were not THE favorite in any of the last couple of seasons. They were media darlings, but many knew that their D would kill them.

I picked UCONN before and I'll stick with them. Calhoun is one of the best coaches in bball.

I continue to stand by my opinion that we are a bad offensive team. The only difference was that we made 3s. That's it. Otherwise, a lot of sluggish passes around the perimeter and standing around. Here's to hoping that our "shooters" can carry a little confidence from this one.

Good atmosphere, especially when we first started pulling away in the first half. By late in the game, many people had left and our stalled play didn't do much to ignite those that remained.

I don't know if they showed it on TV or not, but there was a cool recognition of Berry at a timeout.

Oh, and Hat, I'm jealous. I really liked our seats in 103 tonight, but I don't get those very often!

Play D and shoot the 3 like we did tonight, and we're in. (Which, IMO, is the same thing. If we can continue to hit a decent percentage, teams will have to come out and contest, which will open up the paint for our bigs.)

im just tired of seeing alleyoops every 4 minutes. doing them every 4 minutes and making them is one thing.

I don't expect Hopson and Tatum to be have the kind of performance they did today consistently for the rest of the season. They've showed flashes of brilliance at certain points this season, but we got to remember, they're freshmen. Next year, however, I expect them to step up their game and be more consistent on both ends of the floor. If Hopson can have the game he had today every fourth game, I'd be pleased.

Hopson was aggressive on the boards and on D early. That set off the rest of the game for him.
