UT fans, myself included, need to say the Serenity prayer about the CFP.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.

We have no control over what the CFP committee does. Just enjoy the games as they come. This is a historical season any way you look at it.

Go Vols!

Absolutely. If anybody had told me that we would be 10 and 2 or 11 and 1 before the season, I would have recommended they look for a room with a view at the funny farm.

I am all about serenity. The truth is, it’s all fun and games to get in as the 4th seed and everybody should be thrilled today based on where we are today. You need a GREAT defense to actually win it, so that should be a shock to you if that happens. It would be great if some of the whiny miserables learned how to be thrilled by the current huge success. Medication might be needed.

“If you don’t hate this team you’re not a true Vol fan” is something I’ve heard my whole life. Still hearing it.

'Sometimes you eat the bear and sometimes, well....the bear eats you'

If I eat the bear, it won't eat anybody. After having bear steak, loin, ribs, burgers, and such, I'd make a winter coat of his fur, and his teeth into a necklace for my wife. As you can see, I like bears. And I'm good at making everything taste like chicken.
