One day after the press conference he announces the hiring of Petrino as the Offensive Co-ordinator.

You piss off Bama for losing their DC before the National Championship Game and you get one of the best OC in the nation for nearly no money.........he wants back in bad. You would have 2 of best on their side of the ball in the nation.

Could be done in a few hours if not for two morons like Cheek and Hart in charge.

Really, if Cheek and Hart showed up to interveiw you, what would answer be?? :hi:

You fail to realize that Charlie Strong has a say so in this and he has spoken. Overpaying for a someone to coach the team is just as dumb as not offering enough.


He wants to stay with his players in Louisville. Why can't people get that through their thick heads?

The smart thing to do is go back in time and use the search firm. Other than that....IDK. But once again its the 11th hr and we dont have a coach. Prob announce butch davis today and we all say "Well I guess he's ok all things considered." And we take our place as the 4th best team in the east. The good news is that this yr every season ticket purchase comes with a 3 month supply of prozac! So it all works out in the end.

Yeah, an impending huge bump in salary from Louisville and them letting him keep Hurtt around had NOTHING to do with Strong's decision.

I am glad he said no but the altruistic notions that Strong did this just for the kids is misguided.
