The spotlight/exposure on the next 3 games

This weekend gets major attention being a CBS 3:30 game. It's a big rivalry and UT just upset a #11 SCjr team after almost upsetting Georgia. A good showing will go a long way regardless of outcome.

With the injury ridden GA/FL matchup being on CBS the following week, the next best game will be UT/Mizzu and likely ESPN primetime. If Mizzu is still undefeated and UT put up a good fight against Bama, this will be a game to watch for sure. Another big exposure week.

Let's say UT loses but it's pretty close. Sure they're just 4-5 entering the Auburn game where the Tigers will likely be 8-1 after beating FAU and a bad Arky team. There is no doubt the world will be on the Bama/LSU game, but the only other game people would wanna watch is... A&M/Miss St. So again, UT could be in the 2nd best game of the week.

Let's say they still lose but it's a nailbiter. Think about how big the Georgia and SCjr games were already as far as recruiting and national recognition. After last week's upset, I believe these next 3 games are HUGE moving forward. If UT could beat just 1 of those teams... look out.

P.S. (Obviously beating Vandy and UK is important as well lol)

I have Mizzou and Auburn circled and we have to have at least one win against either. I like our odds against Mizzou best. We're playing with house money against Bama and it's one where I'd expect Butch to pop the lock on the trickeration playbook if we can keep it honest.

Happy to say I'm going to the mizzou game. It'll be my first UT away game if I don't count the many times I've seen them play vandy in Nashville, and if I don't have NCST in atlanta last year and NC in Nashville for music city bowl. Those were all home games to me lol.

I'm looking forward to Mizzu as well but to me Auburn is more important. I get tired of the Vols playing 1st year HCs and losing to them.
