Huge conversion on 3rd and 13! A 33 yard pass takes USC from A&M’s 46 to A&M’s 13 with 17 seconds (and a timeout) remaining in the game.

Oh and what a mistake. At the 2 yard line, USC doesn’t send out enough players, has to make a substitution once they realize it, per the rules A&M is allowed to make a substitution to (the ref stands over the ball, not allowing it to be set), and the play clock runs out while A&M’s player trots out onto the field.

Doesn’t matter though! With 8 seconds left, USC completes the 7 yard TD pass (right at the goal line) to take the lead 35-31!

The Trojans end their season 7-6.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M, having started the season 7-1 and become a front runner for the SEC Championship Game, loses 4 of its last 5 games, ending their season 8-5.

Press Conference: Elko, Aggies react to Las Vegas Bowl disappointment

Texas A&M's campaign ended on a very sour note as the Aggies suffered a 35-31 loss to Southern California in the 2024 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl. Following the defeat, Mike Elko, Noah Thomas and Cashius Howell spoke to the media about the game.

Mike Elko press conference. Hard to believe they paid Jimbo a fortune to leave and had essentially a worse season after the coaching change. Elko belches around the 2:10 mark but recovers well. Mike continues to throw Jimbo under the bus in his comments.
