Supposedly.

The Mission to Get Osama Bin Laden : The New Yorker

The first round, a 5.56-mm. bullet, struck bin Laden in the chest. As he fell backward, the SEAL fired a second round into his head, just above his left eye. On his radio, he reported, “For God and country—Geronimo, Geronimo, Geronimo.” After a pause, he added, “Geronimo E.K.I.A.”—“enemy killed in action

“Geronimo” was to signify that bin Laden had been found.

Enjoyed the suttle implication that the bush administration was ****ing up the search and obama righted the ship.

Obama made the whole thing sound like he was leading the raid in full battle dress

Not surprising. I just overlooked all that mess and focused on the parts of the article talking about the actual raid.

Yeah it's like he landed on an air craft carrier in a full flight suit and stood in front of a giant banner that said "mission accomplished." What a jerk!

Love the fact we shot him between the eyes.. never leave anything to doubt. Too bad they won't release pictures though for all the conspiracy theorists out there.

I understand that they didn't want to make a monument out of his supposed death, but couldn't they have provided some kind of indisputable evidence that he's gone? Not trying to stir any pots, but I just wish I didn't have to use words like "supposedly" or "apparently."

What's proof? Photos? Could be doctored. DNA results? Fabricated. Public viewing? Body double. Plastic surgery.

Al Qaeda has said that he is dead. He has released no videos to suggest otherwise. The US gains no advantage by lying about it and then being proven wrong.

No need for "supposedly." EKIA

Not that Obama didn't release hundreds of Abu Gahrib
photos needlessly taken during when the lesbian general
was running the show there but was never prosecuted.
