With ONE big difference. Do not follow with head coach gets his one Natty and phones it in the rest of his career.
Don’t expect that from Heup though. He is having too much fun for that

The main difference to me would be that the 1998 team was the culmination of multiple years of Top 5 equivalent classes. We were demonstrably more talented across the board and depth wise, particularly along the lines of scrimmage. That said, if Milton is a rock star and things go our way, we can certainly be a playoff team in my opinion and if we get in, anything can happen.

I know we don’t have Wilson, but I believe there are some high expectations of our Linebackers this year as there was then. We don’t have Jamal Lewis, but there are high expectations for our running backs. I wish I was hearing better things about our DBs. Apparently injuries once again have us wondering who will start. I would have hoped that would be obvious. Apparently, the injuries aren’t major, but I can’t help but wonder how much that says about our depth. Maybe I’m expecting too much with only a few weeks of preseason practice left before the season.

See........here yall go again......I'm coming all up in here this season with a "try'na keep it real" attitude saying "how proud I am of Heup and the team", "hope we stay competitive in all our games", "hope we see a nice New Years Bowl" somewhere, "hope the guys leave it all on the field" type attitude.............and I come up in here and read all this and I cant help but start letting Jekyll out and screaming for a NC, we better win all games by 50, and if Heup loses a game he gotta go!!!! Why yall gotta bring this out of me every pre-season!!!!! ............lol..............GBO!!!! Cant wait for this year.
