I haven't seen the team with this much energy since the 09 year. Maybe even more than that. They were blasting rap during warm ups and got the crowd pumped up with their dancing during the Jim Jones song. It's only been one game, but these players love playing for CBJ. Very disciplined team. 0 penalties. Looking forward to an exciting season. It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

We haven't seen hustle and excitement from the players like that ever in an opener.. Don't see that diva attitude at all either.

The future is bright boys

they play with intensity, fire, but most of all, they're having fun out there! it's awesome to see. It's cool to see the D guys congratulating the O and vice versa after big plays

I don't remember you calling anyone a diva last year.

Work pale blue collar here to handle business type feel tonight. Field general Worley commanding all the troops on offense at a furious pace with no problems. First team defense played much much better even without Curt M. and J. Smith out there.

If Worley and the WR's can work on their timing....it will be bright enough for some polarized Oakleys :eek:k:

I loved watching them sprint to the other end of the field at the start of the second quarter. It's awesome to see that.

Before the game I stopped at the market to pick up some 5-hr energy for the drive home and ended up going to 6 different markets there in Knoxville and everywhere told me the exact same thing. They had sold out their supply to some guy in TN sportswear early that morning. Get this. The guy they described was a bit odd. It seems he had one of those wireless microphones sticking out of his back pocket.
