Just scares me. I know he has done Final Fours in the past, but because we are in the SEC, we see him every week. Can't believe he grades out well enough.

Officiating has been rough this year, and the championship game continues that. I made a post in other forum about Pearl being on Mike and Mike this morning and believing that philosophy change will be made this offseason on officiating to call it tighter and allow for more offensive play and scoring. Was an interesting conversation.

Not a fan of either team - but if Clark Kellogg likes it I know I don't. Biggest homer for the Big 10 I have ever seen. Doesn't even try to hide it. The officials have been big time bending over for Michigan in the second half.

Kentucky fans make me sick. Some of them are actually glad that Louisville won the tournament so they could "keep it in the state!" I know this is impossible but would ANY Tennessee fan be glad that Vanderbilt kept in the state or same with Alabama and auburn, or for basketball standards Duke and UNC. It's pathetic

They keep it in the family. You're surprised?

Must have missed the Trey Burke block call as well as Hancock undercutting a guy going for a dunk. It was bad both ways, Siva arm barred and hand checked all night long

The officiating was terrible. Behanan got raped down low. Burke's block was clean. It's easy to say it all evened out, but Louisville had way more calls against them. The disparity was insane.

There were so many bad calls that it would be pointless to try and say one team got more than the other.

-Second shot of the game was an obvious goal tend by Dieng.
-McGary had a blatant kicked ball in front of not one, but two officials.
-Seconds later, he is whistled for a phantom walk with Siva draped all over him on a reach-in that was overlooked.
-Burke's block of Siva was as pretty and clean a block as you'll see, yet he was whistled.
-The contact allowed in the paint, especially for loose balls and rebounds, bordered on a rugby scrum or bar fight.

That's all just off the top of my head. It was so bad, that either team could lay claim to being jobbed. One of the worst officiated games of importance I have ever seen, if not the worst. Those officials should be embarrased about their collective performance.

Probably the worst officiated National Championship Game ever.

Players routinely travel, carry the ball, and beat the hell out of anyone on the floor going in order to get a jump ball. I would like to see the actual jump ball brought back.

The one that frustrates me is the jump ball call when one guy is draped all over the back of the other and is "touching" the ball. If a player makes contact with another, it is a foul, not a jump ball.

That was my point. Questionable throughout, but lopsided in favor of Michigan in the end.

I could care less who won. But after the missed goal tending call the officials seemed to be on a mission to make up for it, especially in the second half.

With 4 minutes to go in the game with UL building a comfortable lead, Michigan was shooting double bonus on fouls. Yet, Michigan had only been called for 4 fouls in the whole second half. Everybody could see that under the boards when a UL player shot the ball they were getting shoved and bodied - no calls. Yet, on the other end if the same thing happened or less there would be an immediate call. Yet, Burke's block was terrific and should not have been called a foul.

Then there were Clark calling for a foul on UL that was clearly not one, which even these officials did not call, as the defender got air when a Michigan shot was missed on a drive to the basket. He has some serious man love for Burke. Burke needs to hire him as an agent.

Thought the most bush league call was near the end, when Luke Hancock SHOULD have been called for his fourth. And they gave the foul to Harrell(i think), who wasnt close to the play. I saw the misses a little more even though. Rather than in favor of Michigan. Amazing to me how they can let plays like Bohannon's putback, with 4 guys slapping and holding him. Then call a foul like Burkes block on Siva. How do these clowns keep a job?

Agree. It was bad enough in the beginning when it was consistently bad. Towards the end it consistently inconsistent, which is far worse.
