Things are about to turn very positive again for the Vols...

- Rich Basaccia is going to be announced as the new RB/ST coach early this week, maybe tomorrow

- the hostessgate bs is going to get cleared up this month

- the staff can get back on the road tomorrow and we can hear about their exploits

- official visits start back the 15th and it will begin to get really positive then

Just be patient. All of the recruits we have lost outside of Willis have been "persuaded" to look elsewhere. Better players will fill their spots...

Good to hear, LV. I was really getting bogged down by all negativity around here of late.

I enjoy the positive outlook. I hope to get more and more excited as the day approaches...

Who has been persuaded to look elsewhere?

Always good to hear some positive news, with all the "sky is falling" posts, you'd think we were destined to be 0-12 for the next 20 years or so. Just give this staff some time, they'll prove they are worth our patience for sure.

I like to think positively as well. I also think that next year's class will be the one that will set a standard for all future classes for TN/CLK. It seems that every even year (2010), TN does extremely well in recruiting. Odd years, not so much. My theory is that we have FLA/AL at home those years and the excitement is intense, to say the least.

In all, i think this year's class is already great, considering who we've turned away and who we did keep. I suppose Brandon Willis is gone for TN, but if we can get Quarles in, we're in just as good shape. We've got our needs filled pretty well so far, and with a few surprises on NSD, we're going to be in the top ten.

Good, Positive thread when we needed it most, LV!

I wish you'd posted this before I swallowed the poison. Goodbye VN.

I honestly thought you meant Bama was about to turn in Tn for a recruiting violation when I first read the topic of the post. :) Good look!

Yeah, really good news on Lemonier. I think we close with him. Also, to continue the good vibes, we end with Nickell Robey as well.
