hm interesting, though I am a bit bothered that this was only 6 years ago


....but, if you were torn between the two, it does kinda seem more movies than politics (I dont think the army tie-in was strong enough here to balance that one out)

One thing that always bugged me, getting shot 3 times in the forehead from 25 feet away by friendly fire seems kinda fishy to me. Then again maybe its just the liberal media that was trying to brainwash me towards thinking Bush was evil, who knows.
See what i did there.. set it up for this forum....

I thought he was shot from across a canyon from several hundred yards away.

Who made the film??

That will tell you more than anything as to what is in the film.

I'm not big on politicizing servicemen although it has been done increasingly with each succeeding conflict at least since WWII.

I would like to see a lot of servicemen and woment go on to a carreer in politics.

The Tillman Story is Amir Bar-Lev’s third feature film. His directorial debut, Fighter, was released theatrically in the fall of 2001, aired on IFC, and was named one of the top documentaries of the year by Newsweek, Rolling Stone, The Village Voice and other major (leftist) publications.

Tillman was no doubt a courageous and patriotic American.

I doubt the film does him justice and not much doubt the documentary will try to make points for the left.

BTW, the Oliver Stone film lauding Hugo Chavez has been a bust in Venezuela.

Just watched it on Showtime and really liked it...dudes head was blown off by his own unit...complete accident...his mother is a champ for getting to the bottom of how the system works....sad story...mistakes made during the mission, the unit should have never been split up when the hummer broke down (blow it up and move forward, together)....the cover up was a complete atrocity...
