How much of a possibility do y'all think the tians have with the possibility of drafting mike williams(WR out of USC a year ago)

they don't need a running back. chris brown is one of the best in the afc. their main focuses right now are cornerback and wideout becuase of all the releases they made. they got rid of mason so they need someone to come in and replace him. they also released a crapload of talent in the secondary. running back is probably the least of their worries right now.

it still makes no sense to draft a running back in the first round. maybe in the 6th or 7th. but the titans need to think about what is more important.

on the contrary the likelyhood of mcnair getting injured again is probly very high... we need to focus more on the running game with our crippled, old qb...

it doesn't matter. what if we don't draft a good cornerback. good passing offenses like the colts will pick us apart you have to think about what needs to be done at the moment. and even if mcnair got injured, we still have a decent experienced qb in volek.

volek is good... ill give u that but honestly... even if we used all of the picks on d do u think we could stop manning if he has another great year???

key word is if. and even if he did pick us apart with the best secondary we could possibley get, we still need top players that we need immediately. that way if he or any team goes down the field and scores we can answer back immediately with a good passing attack on offense(the reason we need williams in 1rst round).

your missing the point......would you rathar in the 1rst round

A. draft a talented cornerback to help our secondary
B. draft mike williams or another talented widout to help our passing attach which has been depleted.
C. draft a running back and let our secondary and passing attack suffer.

see your C is biased... such a negative twist... think if we had a cadillac or a cedric in addition to brown we would have the best one two punch in the nfl...

but if we drafted a running back in the first round we wouldn't have a good shot at getting a talented conrnerback or wide reciever. i say we wait around and try to draft a running back in the 6th or 7th round. maybe even cedric houston if he's still around. and even if we didn't draft a running back we still have talent behind brown that has potential (jarret payton-which is walter payton's son, and there's been rumor that eddie george may come back even though i think he's past his glory days)

eddie george is so washed up now... thats a damn shame... he was a great player... houston would be nice...
